Your index starts from a base: the average of four elements, each counting for a quarter. No opaque scoring is involved: every element depends on what you and the people who recommend you actually do.

• 25 %How varied the relationships recommending you are: a former manager, a colleague and a client count for more than three people from the same circle
• 25 %The skill endorsements you have approved
• 25 %How complete your profile is

First-week quest points are then added, up to 40 points. The total is capped at 100.

Until someone has recommended you, your index stays at or below those quest points: it measures the trust others place in you, not how well you filled in a form.
