The Trust Index starts from a base made of elements that carry equal weight: the number of recommendations you have received, the variety of relationship types among their authors, the approvals members have given to those recommendations, and how complete your profile is. On top come the points you earn through the getting-started quests in the app, up to a ceiling of 100. Until you have received a Reko, your index cannot exceed your quest points. It is not weighted by the standing of whoever recommends you or by how recent a Reko is, it is not calculated per skill, and it does not measure your competence, your performance or your worth. The app shows you the detail of your own calculation.
